We finally began our lives together, riding off into the sunset with coke bottles exploding like fireworks. After an exciting trip to Los Angeles for our honeymoon, we finally have one of many long awaited posts.
Saturday, August 9th
We headed to Los Angeles. My dad let us borrow his car, and thank heavens, because we took full advantage of the Avalon's GPS system. The GPS has been named "Judy," and we were sure to include her in the pictures.
Sunday, August 10th
We decided to take it easy and head to Venice Beach. I always tell people if I could go anywhere in the world, it would be Venice. Even though we weren't in Italy, this Venice was a blast. The beach was beautiful, and we met quite a few interesting people doing just about anything to earn a buck.
Monday, August 11th
DISNEYLAND! Disneyland rocked the house. We did a park hopper pass, so we went to Disneyland and California Adventures. We stood outside the door of Club 33 in envy, we ate at the restaurant inside of the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and we watched the best fireworks display ever at the end of the night. Oh yeah. And Disney supported our marriage with some sweet "Just Married" buttons.
Tuesday, August 12th
We went to the Los Angeles temple. It was gorgeous. Then that night we went to the Dodgers game and saw the great Manny Ramirez. The Dodgers won and our seats were in the 9th row right behind home plate.
Wednesday, August 13th
We went to Hollywood and Zuma Beach. Hollywood was pretty lame, Zuma Beach was pretty but not really good for swimming. The sand was very coarse.
Thursday, August 14th
We went back to Venice because we loved it so much. Jeff was in one of the street shows. Some break dancers jumped over him and 4 other people. We didn't take any pictures this day, though.
Friday, August 15th
We headed back to Cedar after the most perfect Honeymoon ever.
Saturday, August 16th
We moved in. I had to work, and Jeff did a ton of work around the house while I was gone. And thanks to all of the gifts from the wedding, our apartment is starting to feel like a home. So thanks to everyone who helped us out. We really appreciate all the support of people who traveled to come to all of the festivities and made our wedding perfect.

Congratulations!
I like that merely nine days into your marriage you are already considering yourselves in the "happily ever after" category.
Also, did every Disney employee who saw you tell you congratulations on getting married when they saw your buttons?
Thank you, Becky. And we actually didn't get the buttons until the very end of the day. We did get quite a few congratulations after that, though. And hey, why can't happily ever after start now?
