Do you know I hate fashion blogs? This probably has something to do with my inability to buy clothing items that aren't a necessity. It also probably has something to do with me not understanding any of the vintage trends that are corroding modern day life. Then when you add in my detest for myspace-esque photos, it's easy to see that the fashion blogging world was not made for me.
Then regular bloggers started impersonating fashion blogs every now and then by posting pictures they took of themselves wearing trendy outfits in full-length mirrors. And I kept finding myself accidentally stumbling across girls in mostly weird outfits trying to show the internet how awesome their clothes are. But every once in a while I'd see something cute and wish I never saw it because it made me think maybe I could pull it off too. When really. I probably couldn't.
For example, I purchased my first scarf today. I had to buy it fast so I didn't have time to talk myself out of it. Then I told my sister about my purchase and she demanded I post about it because she happens to have the same mother I do who never taught us about scarves and jewelry and the like. Only my sister knew just how awkward I would feel attempting to garnish my body with a scarf. And only she would understand the sincerity in my buyer's remorse as I confessed I didn't even know how to tie my new accessory.
It must be the scarf that made me pose in front of a mirror with my camera just like all those shirtless boys on myspace. I hate and I love so much that I did this.
Hello. I'm 22 weeks pregnant. And I can't take a picture of myself without my eyebrows up. Oh. And don't you just love my scarf? Would you believe me if I told you I'd never worn one before tonight? I didn't think so.
Eli can sense photo-shoots happening these days. America's Next Top Baby Male Model.
This is my favorite scarf tying variation. Especially in a tight shirt with a round belly.
Jeff came in shortly after this to which I giggled uncontrollably, kicked off my high heels, ripped the scarf off my neck and hid the camera behind my back. He still knew just what I was up to.
If anyone has name suggestions for my fashion blog, I'd love to hear them. I think I'm a natural.

try wearing the scarf loose-not tied-and then put a skinny belt above your tummy AROUND the scarf. It will extenuate that awesome baby belly and its a cute new trend.
Who needs me when you've got Melissa giving you wonderful fashion tips!?! Thank goodness for friends who can help you maneuver around fashion areas where your mother is definitely lacking. And there's your belt tip as well. You should have bought that belt you wanted...
Cute photos. You are a beautiful subject, so any photos you take are beautiful.
I love the scarf! I can't wait to see it in action in person.
Very nice. I'm the same way, but you can pull off wearing that :) Your little belly is so cute....
Hahaha. Oh sarah. This is the best. Although I feel slightly awkward seeing you accesorize [whats next, painting your toes?] I think you look super cute as always. Love your new scarf. And your mirror pictures.
You are so funny! We have lots in common, I too dont know anything about/wear jewelry. My wedding ring is the only thing I need lol And I also only own one scarf...
It's so cute Sarah! You can definitely pull it off!
You are probably the cutest pregnant person I have seen. It kind of makes me jealous since I look like a whale when I'm pregnant. (which is why I don't take pictures like this!) Oh, and that scarf is darling. I am not an impulsive shopper...or a shopper at all for that matter! We should shop for scarfs, or other items, together!
