Wow guys. Some days I really can do it all. Perhaps nesting has kicked in already? There has to be some outside force that has motivated me today.
Because I normally don't wake up and make pancakes for the family. And then start laundry. And then clean the car. And then vacuum the whole house -- including under the couch cushions. And then read Eli a few extra books before his nap. And then organize the pantry after six months of telling myself I'd do it. And then finish laundry. And then cook a cheesecake with the extra minutes in between. And then finish wrapping Christmas presents. And then finish up the ornament wreath I started yesterday. And then sit down to blog about it all?!?
Nesting I tell ya. Only nothing I did today has prepared me for #2. Other than I plan to fatten him up with cheesecake this evening.
Eli's clearly been cooperative today. He likes to help me with my cooking and cleaning so that helps. Crock pot dinners and Christmas music help too.
Here are pictures of the things worth documenting:
(Eli taking after his mother plus our clean pantry in the back. And yeah, that's clean in comparison to its previous state.)
Wreath hung with a blue hanger that you should ignore. I can't figure out how to mask it yet.
In my ambitious state, I thought I could get Eli to sit perfectly still and smile at the camera for a picture with the presents. Turns out I really can't do it all.
Also note: we're glad Eli doesn't fully understand Christmas yet so we don't have to go through the trouble of trying to wrap that road rug.
After a first trimester of daily naps and barely being able to peel myself off the couch, I'm hoping this "nesting" keeps up for the next 5 months.

I LOVE days like that. But then I'm exhausted that night :) Cute wreath, and now I want cheesecake. You should start a recipe blog :)
WOW! You were productive! Very clean pantry. Cute wreath. Maybe once I get rid of this cold you gave me I'll have energy just like you and I'll be able to blog about everything I'm accomplishing. Until then--I'll keep reading about all the wonderful things you're getting done.
I love days like that, way to go! And Very cute wreath!
Days like this are amazing! It's like... you're back!
